Fair play
How the deal is made verifiable, and what we do about players who cheat each other.
Committed shuffle
At the start of each hand the server generates a random seed, shuffles a deck from it, and publishes the SHA-256 hash of the seed and the resulting deck order. You can record that hash. When the hand is over the seed is published; hashing it again and re-running the shuffle reproduces the exact deck.
This proves the deck was decided before any card was dealt, and that it was not quietly reordered when someone made a big bet.
Collusion
- Hand histories are retained and reviewable, which is what makes chip-dumping and soft-play detectable after the fact.
- Seating is not chosen by players at a given table, which makes it harder for a group to arrange to sit together.
- Accounts found colluding have balances frozen pending review; confirmed cases are closed and funds returned to the players harmed.
Not live yet — Automated collusion detection and third-party game-integrity review are planned. Today, review is manual and complaint-driven.
Disconnections
If you disconnect during a hand, your action clock keeps running. If it expires you check when checking is free and fold otherwise — exactly what would happen if you sat silent at a live table. Chips already in the pot stay in the pot.
